Host Your Own Mini-Walk
A great way to raise funds and bring awareness to your community is to host a walk of your own. We make it very easy to do and help you every step of the way. Schools, faith communities, civic associations, community groups, cycling clubs – anyone can host a mini-walk. We’ll provide the materials for the walk, help recruit walkers, promote your work, and give t-shirts to all your walkers.
Review the guidelines and then contact Jan Sacharko at A-SPAN at either jsacharko@a-span.org or (703) 842-0154. We will attend your walk, share stories with your walkers about what A-SPAN does and what they can do to get more involved.
Twenty-two schools, churches & clubs organized and hosted mini-walks to support A-SPAN, raising more than $30,000 and recruiting 3,000 walkers! Hope you’ll join us!
