Emergency Winter Shelter Open House and Community Walk for the Homeless Saturday, October 29, 2011
Join A-SPAN at 2 pm on November 6, 2010 for a tour of Arlington's Emergency Winter Shelter. Learn about the services A-SPAN provides our homeless neighbors at the shelter including housing case management and medical services. Following the tour, join A-SPAN as we walk up Wilson Boulevard to raise awareness of homelessness in Arlington.

Registration is $20 for under 25, $30 for 25 and up, takes place at the event and includes a t-shirt.
Walkathon on the National Mall November 19, 2011
Join A-SPAN staff and supporters on the National Mall Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 9 am as we walk with 40,000 others dedicated to ending homelessness in our community. Start a Mini-Walk in your community
The Help the Homeless Program invites schools, community-based organizations, and faith-based organizations in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia to host Mini-Walks. Whether it is a walk held with a high school, university, summer camp, nursing home, or Boys and Girls club, Mini-Walks are a great way to increase the awareness of the issues surrounding homelessness while raising funds.
Virtually Walk
Out of town but want to support A-SPAN? Fannie Mae gives you the option of walking in your hometown and sharing your walk virtually. Your registration counts toward A-SPAN’s walker total and the entire donation is received by A-SPAN.
